It could also be great as a rhythm game as well if you sync everything!

Very simple idea, but it fits well with the theme of the jam and feels fun!

not level 15, but I am still opening a highscore threat:

come and beat me guys!

simple yet addictive! also: very cool how you integrated the game colors on this website as well.

respect for making the jump to godot - I keep thinking about it but a keep chickening out, because I am afraid of how far back it would set me in my ability to create the things I want to.

btw: I do remember your last game jam game fondly as well - it would have totally fit this years theme as well ;-)

Thanks, it did take me a while to move to Godot and there was an initial learning curve but it wasn't as bad as I expected tbh. I managed to transfer most concepts from Unity with a bit of research and experimentation. I have an ongoing test project in Godot which is purely a playground where I try to implement as many examples of different features I might use in a game. (that project itself makes for a truly terrible game experience ๐Ÿ˜‰)

I'm glad I took the time to learn Godot and I will carry on using it, but I think where Unity still beats Godot by some margin is in the amount of plugins, platform support, online resources, and fancy built-in components e.g. cloth physics to name just one. Godot has some catching up to do in those areas!

I had a very good time playing this. Well polished and fits the theme nicely. I strongly recommend adapting it to mobile and releasing it as a full game. Best of luck in the future :)

Thanks for your kind words!  ๐Ÿ˜„

You earned them friend!
